Why Network Marketing?
Well, first, we have to talk about what network marketing is and what it isn’t and the keys to your success.
Network marketing in the old days may be been about talking to everyone who breathed oxygen or trying to prospect in the grocery store line, but that’s not how many of us run our business today.
Today, network marketing is about being a network marketing professional. It’s about talking ONLY to those people who are interested in what we have to offer.
It’s about presenting ourselves with integrity and making sure that the people we sponsor into our business get started the right way.
The 3 – 5 Year Plan
Network marketing is not a road to quick, overnight riches. It is, however the only business model that can, with a solid plan of action and a ‘roll-up-your-sleeves’ attitude, help you to achieve real financial security in a window of 3 – 5 years because we use leverage.
In network marketing, we use the power of leverage to achieve financial security.
Many other professions also have a 3 – 5 year plan, such as insurance agents and financial advisors, however, their 3 – 5 year plan is just to get established. Our 3 – 5 year plan is to achieve financial security, big difference.
3 – 5 years of work to achieve financial security or 40 years of a 40 hour work week to retire with maybe a gold watch? The choice is yours.
Is it One of Those ‘Things’?
This industry has changed so much in the last 7 – 8 years. More and more people are recognizing that network marketing is a profession that can stand right next to any other reputable profession.
Long-gone are the days of when you worked for 40 years for the same corporation, and long gone are the days when you can count on a company to be loyal to you.
Think Lehman Brothers, Enron, Merrill Lynch, etc.
Did you know that in the Wall Street tumble of 2008, 25,000 people from Lehman Brothers alone lost their jobs?
Network marketing is not one of those ‘things’ that your Aunt Sally joined just to get some free products. It’s not a pyramid and you don’t have to bug your family, friends or neighbors. It is a very viable profession and a lot of people are starting to take notice.
