What’s Your Someday?

Everybody has a ’someday.’

“Someday, I’m going to take that vacation.”
“Someday, I’m going to give more to church.”
“Someday, I’ll be able to make it to Susie’s soccer game.”
“Someday, I’m going to leave this job for something better.”

and it goes on and on and on.

Sound familiar?

I’ve had a lot of ’somedays’ in my life, too. Then, I realized that ’someday’ is not a day of the week. My ’somedays’ were never going to happen unless I did something about it.. and so I did.

SomedayYou see, I’ve been on both sides of the fence, in a regular 9-5 job and in a home-based business.

Believe me, when I say that this side of the fence has a much better view!

We all know, however, that in order to reach our goals and dreams, we have to put a date to the goal, or it will never happen. So, if ’someday’ isn’t real, how can you expect to buy that house, go on that vacation, donate more to church, etc., etc. ….someday?

It will never happen. Unless! Unless you take someday and turn it into now. Who decided that we are supposed to wait until we’re 65 (someday) to enjoy life?

Living life is about enjoying and celebrating it now, not ’someday’, because you know what?

If you keep on doing the same thing you’ve been doing for the last who knows how many years, ’someday’ will never come.

You’ll wake up one morning and your kids will be asking you to babysit their kids and you’re going to say, “Wait a minute, where did the last 30 years go?

As a mom, I can tell you it goes by that fast, too. It seems like just yesterday that my sons were little boys and I was taking them to school with their dinosaur backpacks and lunchboxes. Next thing I knew, I was dropping them off at a dorm room with a laptop and mini-fridge.

Now? They’re 20-something men.

I am so grateful that I’ve been able to be home with my daughter.

Do you have one too many ’someday’s that you talk about? Are you waiting because of lack of time or money? If so, ask yourself why. Why are you waiting until ’someday’ instead of making it happen right now?

So, how do you know who to believe on the web? Well, let’s talk about keeping it real.
